Descobri ColdPlay aos 45 minutos do segundo tempo do ano de 2008.
Melhor dizendo, tive a sorte de ser apresentado.
Se você acompanha o Blog, vai dizer que sou facilmente influenciado.
Em parte é verdade , porém me restrinjo as boas coisas.

Infelizmente não pude ir ao Show que teve este ano no Brasil, e isso particularmente me incomoda!

Desabafos a parte, a banda Inglesa que surgiu em 1998, está entre as minhas prediletas.
Com 04 albúns lançados, e mais de 50 milhões de discos vendidos em todo mundo; ColdPlay manteve-se  protetora de suas músicas para não serem usadas na mídia, recusando-se a sua utilização para endosso do produtos.
A banda apoia a Anistia Internacional e Martin (vocalista) é considerado uma das celebridades defensoras do "comércio justo", apoiando a Oxfam com a contínua campanha Make Trade Fair.

Não muito conhecida, a faixa 13 do 03º albúm X&Y é sem dúvidas, a minha preferida.
Till Kingdom Come, ou Até o fim dos tempos; além da melancolia e solidão transbordada por sua sonoridade, nos desperta, por sua letra, o sentimento do coletivo, de que precisamos de amparo e de que não conseguimos viver sozinho.
